- The legal team entrusted to design the by-laws of the social insurance law finalized the first draft before the end of April.

- The Committee on the Management of the Emergency Unemployment Program releases the first list of beneficiaries of unemployment allowances.

- The minister of labor met with the World Bank Director on 31.3.2004, asking him to support the establishment of the Social Insurance Institution and the Employment Fund.
